Accessibility

We hope to share the experience of live theatre with as many people as possible, and take the issue of accessibility very seriously. We are committed to ensuring that your visit to the theatre is as enjoyable as possible so, if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to help, then please contact us by calling 020 8858 4447 or email info@greenwichtheatre.org.uk.

Hearing Assistance

From time to time we have open captioned performances for the hard of hearing.

Sennheiser systems are available from the cloakroom staff. Please advise the Box Office staff how many headsets you require when booking.

Wheelchair Access

There is flat access through one set of front doors into the foyer. The bar and cafe are accessed by platform lift and there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. We have lift access to the rear of the auditorium where spaces are available for a maximum of two wheelchair users. We can also store wheelchairs for patrons transferring to seats. Please inform the Box Office of your requirements when booking.

Visual Assistance

The information on this website is also available as a large format print brochure and PDF. To get a copy, please call the marketing department on 020 8858 4447, or email marketing@greenwichtheatre.org.uk

Guide dogs are welcome in the auditorium. Please inform the Box Office when booking your tickets and you'll be allocated with an aisle seat so your dog can be next to you. Alternatively, your dog can stay with our front-of-house staff during the performance and will be brought to you at the interval and end of the show.

Access & Opportunity

Ultimately, theatre holds something for everyone, and Greenwich Theatre is committed to promoting equality of opportunity across all aspects of its operation. This applies to audiences, performers, practitioners, young participants and staff alike. In education, we strive to use theatre to tackle the barriers which prevent young people from accessing education, employment or training. For theatre-makers, we strive to offer developmental opportunities unavailable elsewhere. In programming, we offer a broad, diverse selection of productions to satisfy a wide audience. For staff, we encourage training and personal development, both inside and outside of the industry. In welcoming audiences, we strive to offer accessible facilities, performances, and activities throughout the year.

More than anything, we are ready and keen to talk to our audience, our participants and our staff at any time to improve the many and varied opportunities provided by Greenwich Theatre. To get in touch, contact Simon Francis, General Manager on 020 8858 4447 or email s.francis@greenwichtheatre.org.uk
