We run a rolling programme of workshops with a range of professional theatre partners throughout the year, for everyone from primary school children right up to 19 year olds. Current opportunities include:
GBC
Autumn 2009 saw the launch of a new vocal group for Greenwich, and we are now recruiting new members. GBC is no ordinary choir – the repertoire includes a range of contemporary popular styles and rhythms and beats, all created vocally, and the group have regular opportunities to perform around the borough and beyond. Sense of Sound, our partner in leading the group, have appeared on BBC 2’s Bafta winning series The Choir Boys Don’t Sing, BBC’s Last Choir Standing and were finalists in Choir Of The Year 2006.

SOUND STAGE
Greenwich Theatre’s Sound Stage project works with young people aged 16-18 as they write, develop and rehearse a brand new piece of music performance over 6 months.
The new work will be performed in stages throughout the project at Greenwich Theatre, and then in full at the British Music Experience at the O2. The programme offers performance training perfect for anyone interested in studying music or drama at BTEC National level.
To join this pioneering new youth company, you must be aged 16-18, live in the borough of Greenwich, and not be currently studying or working.Ages: 16-18
