THEATRE HIRE

From time to time Greenwich Theatre becomes available for hire.

Primarily during the summer months and early January, or whenever our professional touring show schedule allows, we accept proposals for hire events. The Theatre seats 400 people and has basic lighting and sound equipment. Some technical support and full front-of-house staff are provided within the hire fee. Our Box Office has in-person, telesales and 24-hour online sales facilities which we provide for a small sales commission.

Hire Events must be broadly speaking of a theatrical nature and:

• Be produced by an experienced producer. That is a producer who has successfully promoted an event similar in size and complexity.

• If the event is for an invited audience (Not sold through our box office), have a ticketing strategy that takes into account, lost tickets and refunds if customers not satisfied.

• Have a competent Technical Manager who is able to meet with us and provide detailed technical specifications

• Be of a nature that does not conflict with the theatres reputation or artistic goals.
