Hansel and Gretel

E-mail Print PDF

Mon 26 - Wed 28 October 2009

It is winter in a small town somewhere in Eastern Europe and an unknown enemy threatens to invade the town and prisoners of all who live and work there. In order to ensure their safety two small children, Hansel and Gretel, are sent into the forest by their father.

It is a desperate measure but the only way to ensure their survival. As the enemy creep ever closer to the little town Hansel and Gretel forage deeper into the woods where they hope to find safety and shelter with the partisans of the forest.

On the way they are sure to meet an array of exciting and lovable characters as well as those who may not want to help them on their way including the inhabitant of a ginger bread house!

This production has everything that you would expect from Full House Theatre Company, including an enchanting musical score, magical masks and the company’s trademark giant puppetry. You may never read a fairy tale in the same way again.
